PRP TREATMENT
Platelets are part of our blood and possess healing properties. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentration of platelet after the patient’s blood has been spun in a centrifuge. PRP can be used in hair loss, facial treatments, and damaged joints to promote healing.
PRP for hair loss
The most common cause of hair loss is androgenic alopecia in both men and women. It is caused by hormones and genetics. The hair starts to thin and density reduces.
Injecting PRP into affected area of the scalp can reduce loss, stimulate growth and improve thickness of the hair.
